It's... done!!!
Biggest paintjob ever. (pencil on A3 format, then ages of photoshop 7 and my darling Tablet)
For those who don't know: it's Ami and Rei from Sailor moon. The goal was a dynamic, colorful pic to show off their powers, Fire and Water. Rei also as spiritual powers and uses paper spells. I didn't know what to write on the paper, so i wrote her name: Hino Rei.
This took about two week, i'm never gonna do something this big ever again. My sis helped a lot with Ami's skin and hair, thanks!!
Hope you enjoy it, comments are greatly appreciated
Awesome pic! Not only does it show what they do but it also in a way shows their personalities because Ami is more calm and reserved and Rei is more out going and dynamic. Great job!!!

wow!!!! A M A Z I N G!!!! Pfew.... They actually look better than in the series! This is absolutely fantastic! All those light effects, details and everything! Am surprised this only took two weeks (and during the examweek!!!) +fav!!!
amazing use of dynamic lighting. The black background also helps to enhance the effects even more. You also did a great job personifying the attitudes of Rei and Ami with their body language. I think I'm gonna fave this one. awesome job!
wow, how amzing is this. It has really showed what you can do and it is just outstanding. You really should do more like this one, they would be so great. I just love the light and dark effects with the aura glow all around them and lightin on the faces.
Haha wild! Great accuracy to the characters and I love the idea of the picture. The composition is really professional and the contrast looks stunning, I love the way Ami's power is circling outside of Rei's fire so the spiral continues outwards like that. It's like one big sweeping motion that leads the eye. Love the way Rei's black hair is picking up both the red and blue highlights.
