This is a short story I did for Dutch comic magazine 'De Lijn' , which had the theme 'Addiction'.
My story was inspired by that medieval horror story of that noblewoman who killed loads of virgins for their blood, don't remember the name.. but I thought it fitted the theme very well so I did a modern version.

I'm also going to publish it in the upcoming CheeseCake! Pocket, but had some trouble translating it in English. So if you've got any suggestions or spot any mistakes, please leave a comment!

I think the noblewoman you're thinking of is Elizabeth Bathory.

Also, you did a really great job with the translation. The only thing I can think is that "wack" might not be the best word for a matronly manager to use to describe her aristocratic employer on page 2. Maybe use the word "odd" instead?

Other than that, great leadup and that last page is really perfectly shaded to get the point across.

Great story! I really enjoyed reading it. And as serratedangel said, it was Elizabeth Bathory. They movie, Stay Alive, revolves around her actually. :3

This is an interesting modern take on the Countess Elizabeth Bathory. The comments b4 r correct and if you or anyone reading this like Black Metal, then pick up Cradle of Filth's "Cruelty and the Beast." The whole album is dedicated to Elizabeth Bathory.

I agree with changing "wack" no page two to something like "odd," mainly because I'm getting the impression you're still going for an antiquated feel.

Also, page four, I might be mistaken, but it looks like you have an accent over the "o" in The Countess' first sentence in Panel One.

Overall, though, I really like the comic. It's got a very creepy feel and you make The Countess' face wonderfully manic at times.
