Final part of my series called the Zodiak Army.

This is also a birthday gift for my friend giselle who has become 18 today!! She's a proud Capricorn herself ;)

Capricorn:
Well, this is my own sign so i have a special place for her in my heart :D Officially the zodiak-capricorn is a goat with a fish tail, but i decided to do it a little different. Capricorn is an Earth sign, very down to earth and smart in different situations. Very diciplined (not me :) ) and loyal to the job. She's home in the mountains, i wanted to draw her like she's comfortable in high places. About the weapon... well, nothing beats a samurai sword!! Please take a close up to her face, i really like the way it came out. About the sign, well, all signs are pretty clear but for capricorn there are a dozen variations. I picked this one because i like it.

Cancer:
She's water, a bit magical with the ribbons but she can also fight with her arm-weapons-things which make her reconizable as cancer. Cancer is very romantic, emotional, protective, likes stability and doesn't really look like a fighter, but is very powerful though. Her outfit was inspired by classic storytale European princesses :) I especially like the hair net. About the ribbons: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME KIDSit took me forever and by now i haaate ribbons. I guess the last part is never easy ;)

So this is it! I don't know what i'm doing next, maybe back to anime style, anyway something completely different. Don't miss the mozaic-like pic i'm making of the improved zodiak-pieces. They will have much more landscape and general improvements, for example this one has much greater mountain-scenery. And then there is so much more i can draw with these characters, like their homes or battle scenes... mmm

Oooh, very nice. I love their eyes, and the whole pic is great, especially capricorn's costume. You did a really nice job with those ribbons too ^^ Samurai Swords indeed cannot be beaten :D

Ou yay!! I've been waiting for this=D Capricorn kicks ass. I adore her eyes, they look so hard and focused. Her hair is lovely as well, the color is wicked cool. Love her necklaces and the little pin thing on her shirt.. Very niceXD
Oh, and of course Cancer is purday too! The ribbons do look like a hell of alot of work, but they make her look more innocent and such, very nice touch. And her symbole at the top of her staf is great.

As a cancer, I will say simply this - the cancer is so very un-me, and very un-all the other cancers I've met, 'cept the whole romantic, emotional and protective thing. :P
But it rocks major arse, and so I must :+favlove: this. Great job! Looks like the ribbons took you forever! Well done. :nod:
